Bathyal Labs

Operational Brief // Origin Story

Bathyal Evolution

Founded by Natasha and Caleb, Bathyal Labs began in the 2020 lockdown as ShyGuy Dice. What started as a home workshop obsession with resin chemistry and mold-making quickly evolved into a full-scale engineering house.

A Message From The Lab

At the end of the day, we’re just makers who love the craft. We take our years of expertise from the film industry and channel it directly into our dice and tools—creating everything from one-of-a-kind artisan sets to the technical gear that helps other artists succeed.

• For our fellow makers: If you are a small business looking for precision Master Dice, we can engineer them for you with the same cinematic detail used for the big screen.

• For the gamers: If you’re searching for that Perfect Set to tell your character's story, we’re ready to build it.

Maybe you're looking for a specific tool or a unique tabletop item and you just can't find it anywhere else? Commission it with us. We love bringing impossible ideas to life.

Drop us a line—let’s build something wonderful together.

Fuel the Innovation

Transitioning to Bathyal Labs full-time means we're constantly experimenting with new materials, 3D printing techniques, and cinematic designs. If you enjoy the tools we create or the behind-the-scenes VFX breakdowns we share, consider "fueling the lab. " Your donations go directly toward R&D costs—resin, filament, and the hardware maintenance required to keep our digital-to-physical pipeline running. Every bit of support helps us stay independent and innovative.
